Hello
Is Peugeot 1.6HDI Diesel compatibility with 5176 (PRO-LINE SUPER DIESEL ADDITIVE). Its run 180000km and I think its right time to start adding every 2000kms.
I am also planning to add PRO-LINE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER PROTECTION in alternate fill when I don't add 5176 (PRO-LINE SUPER DIESEL ADDITIVE).
Peugeot have special additive tank which adds to fuel to do active/passive regen. However since DPF/FAP is old (180000kms now). I think its best to add this too for better soot burning / cleaning.

Hello,
For the Peugeot 1.6 HDI with an electronically controlled additive tank system for filter regeneration you can use the Super Diesel Additive without any matters.
The Diesel Particulate Filter Protector can´t be used with this car. If the electronically system is active the particular filter can be demaged in the worst case during overheating. This information you can also find in the product information of the Diesel Particulate Filter Protector.

I see 5156 (PRO-LINE DIESEL SYSTEM CLEANER) being recommended before any additive like Super Diesel? I think its a very strong cleaning agent. After this 5176 can take it over regular use. Or you think one double dose (150:1) of 5176 can have same effect?

To double the dose never has an better cleaning effect with our additives. The best result of our additives you will get if you use the additives as described in the product information.
We recommend the 5156 to clean the fuel system because this is the main task of this additive and than when the system is cleaned up we recommend to use the 5176 for additional improve of the cetan number of the diesel, to prevent the fuel system for deposites and to protect the fuel sytsem against corrosion.
5156 is an specialist so it is the specialist for cleaning, 5176 is an very good allround product but an allrounder can´t be as good as an specialist in cleaning but still has very good properties to the fuel system.

I see the cost difference is 2x but use of additive is same.

Our #5154 Pro-Line JetClean Diesel Injection Cleaner was only developed for direct application via professional JetClean devices. So please do not add it to the fuel tank or to the fuel filter.
